Government Grants
The Federal government's SBIR (Small Business Innovation Research) and STTR (Small Business Technology Transfer) programs award Research and Development (R&D) funds to qualified small businesses. SBIR/STTR (www.sba.gov/aboutsba/sbaprograms/sbir/) programs encourage small firms to undertake research that helps meet Federal R&D objectives and has a high potential for technology commercialization.
